Object of Desire: Handmade Copper Dustpans by Custodian Studio
November 3, 2022 | by Jenor Ricafort
For reasons both utilitarian and slightly witchy, we’ve long admired the handmade brooms by Erin Rouse of Custodian Studio (see: Object of Desire: Handmade Luxe Brooms from a Brooklyn Artist). Julie recently noticed Erin’s latest offering: a copper dustpan with a long twisted steel handle.
Take a look:
Above: The Copper Dustpan is inspired by a 1930s design and made to far outlast any plastic version—you’ll never need another. It’s $275 from Custodian Studio.
Above: The dustpan is a solid copper pan with a long twisted steel handle, no crouching needed. According to the Custodian site, it has “amazing heft. Comfortable to hold. A joy to use.”
